HOT July 4th Race - Great Time for All
Overdrive Distribution Corp. (ODC), was at the 19th Annual July 4th Watermelon 5k Run/Walk in Winter Park, FL, Saturday, July 4th.
In addition to running, walking, food, music and fun, this event honored our Troops with the Wounded Warrior Regiment and supported the Track Shack Foundation, a local, 501c(3) organization that promotes health and fitness with an emphasis on youth programs.
The Watermelon 5k also featured the 3rd Annual Watermelon Eating Contest, a Kid's Run (free to all kids), and for the first time ever, the American Council for the Blind participated in the 5k!
It was a great event. ODC was on hand to give free samples of H2O Overdrive™ to a crowd of very thirsty athletes! After handing out some cold bottles to some of the first to cross the finish line, the athletes downed the drinks and shortly there after, began telling their friends they "had to go try this stuff". BICYCLING EDITORIAL REVIEW
Bicycling Magazine received samples of H2O Overdrive™ to try out and give their feedback to the world. We won't give away the entire article, but one of the best quotes in the article was:
"The guys at Innovative Health Solutions, makers of H2O Overdrive, put as much thought into one bottle as I do my entire diet." ~Liz Read Carlson

ROCKIN' THE VOLLEYBALL WORLD
Team H2O Overdrive's Jennifer Boss and April Ross defeated top seeds and 2008 Beijing Olympians Nicole Branagh and Elaine Youngs 21-17, 18-21, 15-12 to claim their long-awaited first title. Prior to this win, Kessy and Ross were 0-9 in AVP Crocs Tour finals, though they have three victories on the international circuit.
“We knew it would happen, we just had to be patient,” said Kessy. “This was a big win against one of our biggest competitors in the entire world.”
It was a great weekend for Team H2O Overdrive. On Sunday, May 31, 2009, Terry Giles, developer of H2O Overdrive and driver of the #85 Powerhouse Racing / H2O Overdrive / ECR Engines / Base Race Fuels / Goodyear Tires / PST Driveshafts GT1 Corvette lead the first and every lap of the race, winning the National GT1 Championship Points Race at Road Atlanta.
This is Terry's second win this season putting him only 3 points out of first place. You can read more about the race at Earnhard Childress Racing Engines.
H2O Overdrive™ Athlete Ambassador, Sid Taberlay, will be riding in the Bump n' Grind cycling event in Birmingham Alabama, May 31, 2009. Everyone at Overdrive Distribution wishes Sid all the best in the event.
The third stop on the USCup ProXCT resumes this weekend at Bump n' Grind in Birmingham, Alabama. Not since the national series visited Waco, Texas, in 2004, have the racers ventured this far into the Deep South. While this will be Bump n' Grind's 14th year, it will be the first time that North America's top professionals will be competing there as part of the elite national series.
With the help of US Cup organizers and Sho-Air rider Manny Prado, a new 5.4-mile course that is consistent with UCI World Cup standards has been carved out of the existing 17-mile cross country loop. This distance will make for a more spectator-friendly race and allows riders to pass by their tech zones several times. Amateur racers will be competing on the longer 17 mile-course as they have in years past.
Out and About in Orlando Team Overdrive hit the streets of Orlando this Tuesday, May 26th, for our first experience introducing H2O Overdrive™ to the fitness community in Orlando. In short, the product was an UNCONDITIONAL SUCCESS. Of course, we already new that other parts of the country have started getting H2O Overdrive™ and our Athlete Ambassadors love it, but this was the first chance we had to get it out in Orlando, FL.
